Yeah. It is. Especially when everyone in your party loves torturing themselves on roller coasters. We had such a great day, and managed to ride everything we wanted to ride. Pure and total satisfaction.
Oh, how do I love the Raging Bull. Quite possibly one of the greatest roller coasters ever… especially at night. The Viper at night was cool too, as was the conversation for my mother’s new ebay business while in line. Priceless.
Roller coasters win. Roller coasters win.

So incredibly busy lately. I know I say that a lot, and it’s always my excuse for not blogging but it’s entirely true. Work has been delightfully busy. I started softball. Went drinking with the guys a couple times. I’m going to Great America with my family and Rahsaan on Monday.
Perhaps the coolest thing is that I’m collabing with my friend Sandy on a project. I’ll be putting together some grassroots vignettes and she will be doing some art for them. We’re looking for it to be a fun little web project, one that will actually bear fruit and get done.
Maybe in the end we can print.
I love my life right now.

Today I was thinking how I used to watch Pokemon with my brother and sister. She would tape it, and then after school we would make a point to all watch it together. I’d get so excited about it, wondering what happened to Ash and company while I was in class. I vaguely remember a couple episodes making me cry. I know the first movie did.
I was in high school.
Stuff like that was fun. I used to love watching TV with my siblings, especially before school. Land of the Lost. Mighty Max. Bionic Six. I even think Sailor Moon was on in the morning for awhile. Sitting there on the couch together with our backpacks at our feet we watched, waiting until the last possible minute before we had to leave. It was our time to bond.
I don’t have cable now, and I think I know another reason why. TV just isn’t the same without my brother and sister around.

My shins… they hurt. Horribly. I don’t think running two miles on Sunday was a very good idea. I mean, I do a mile on the elliptical machine three times a week at the gym, but there’s no impact with that. Ugh, I hope this heals fast.
I bought a flowering plant today for Earth Day! It’s really cute with yellow and purple flowers. I also bought an herb kit so I can have more fresh herbs on hand. I really like the basil my mother gave me last year, so now I have cilantro, chives, marjoram, thyme and parsley too!
I love my plants. I think when I finally have a yard of my own I would like to have a small garden. Wait! In the meantime I could have a balcony garden. Maybe. Hahaha. I dunno if it’s too late for that or not.
I’m going down to see my brother and Anne on Friday. I’m excited! And my mom is visiting with a scrumptious treat on Thursday. I can’t wait for that. Apparently it’s really good; my dad nearly ate all of the “test batch” over the weekend.

When I woke up this morning I found an email from my father sitting midst the spam in my inbox. The subject said: I love you! Next weekend we’re going to cook.
That totally made my day.
I love you too, daddy. More than you will ever know.
