everyday minerals REVIEW.
May 16th, 2008 NicholeOn Wednesday I received my sample kit of everyday minerals, so I’ve had two days to test it out. Even though I’m basing this on just two days of wearing I must say that I’m very impressed, and am planning on buying full size products this weekend.
Guys, if you use bare minerals, ditch that crap and go for everyday minerals. It doesn’t contain bismuth oxychloride, it’s a hell of a lot cheaper and the company is cruelty free.
I have oily and acne prone skin. At about 5 o’clock my face would always feel really gross and all I’d want to do is go home and wash my bare minerals makeup off. I would have to blot at least three times a day.
With everyday minerals I’ve lightly blotted my face once on both days. Yesterday I actually went to my friend Marisol’s after work without washing my face and reapplying my makeup. I didn’t feel gross or nasty or anything. Perhaps best of all, after about 14 hours of wearing it still looked pretty good.
The coverage is fantastic and the colors match my skin nicely.
Realistically, no makeup is going to last you all day, especially if you have oily skin. This stuff however lasts a very long time and still looks fantastic.
If you’ve always wanted to try mineral makeup or are considering switching brands, you should make yourself a FREE custom kit. I paid about $3.25 for shipping and that was all. (Bonus points because they take PayPal.) CHECK IT OUT!
One drawback is that if you’re new to mineral makeup you need to buy some brushes. I use a kabuki brush for maximum coverage and a concealer brush for corrections.
My kit included:
Fair Matte Foundation
Fair Medium Matte Foundation
Ivory Matte Foundation
Mint Concealer
Wet Sand Face Color
