This issue was written over the span of two days during a not-so-wise writing experiment. It includes stories about why some people may drink to spur creativity, craving internal dialogue, loneliness, isolation from others and my writing, how bad decisions sometimes influence younger generations, and a handful of other disjointed thoughts.
This zine is twofold. I wrote it for all the girls who made a noticeable imprint in my life, but I also wrote it as a huge a kick in the pants for myself. Don't hesitate. Try everything once. Stories include an encounter with a girl a goth club, a stripper with glasses, an old high school friend and a waterbed that made me nauseous.
I created this perzine soon after I quit my job as a web designer for an online marketing firm to become a not-so-starving artist. Stories include fiction writing frustrations, growing up without AC and seeking refuge in the local library, novel writing and the zine that gave me enough courage to quit my job to write for awhile.
